Buddhism in America
In America, interest in learning about Buddhism continues to grow. This week PBS is featuring its documentary, The Buddha. It is an excellent overview of the historical Buddha, Shakyamuni.
The best way to learn about Buddhism is to visit a Buddhist temple. At Myosenji Temple, we recently produced a short video of our members talking about why they practice and visit the Temple.

Upcoming Atlanta, Georgia Meeting
We will be hosting a special Introduction to Buddhism meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, this Saturday, July27th from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Our Chief Priest, Rev. Murata, will be in attendance and will lecture and teach you how to begin your Buddhist practice.
