The Ten Worlds are – Hell, Hunger, Animality, Asura, Humanity, Rapture, Learning, Realization, Bodhisattva & Buddhahood. All human beings possess the Ten Worlds and can go from one of them to another within a single life-moment.

Visit our Buddhist Temple this Sunday, April 23rd, (online & in-person) 2pm EDT and hear our Chief Priest, Rev Sakabe’s lecture on Buddhism’s view of how the human world works, the Ten Worlds. He will also teach you how to practice Buddhism.
If you have decided to become a Buddhist or are interested in learning how to become a Buddhist, after Sunday’s meeting (about 3:30 pm) Rev Sakabe will be performing the Acceptance of the Precept Ceremony, the ceremony where you become a Buddhist.
