Here’s one of the most frequent questions asked at our Introduction to Buddhism meetings:
“Is Buddha the same as God?”
For those of us who grew up in the United States, this is a natural question to ask when first learning about Buddhism.
This Saturday, September 13th, at 2:00 pm, our Chief Priest will be answering this question and others at our What is Buddhism? introduction meeting.
We’ll start the meeting with a short video followed by chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo after being instructed how to properly use the Juzu beads (Buddhist prayer beads). Then there will be Q&A with the Chief Priest.
