Dear Members of Myosenji Hokkeko Chapter,
High Priest Nichinyo Shonin has issued an expression of His sympathy for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami. This is a tentative Myosenji translation.
Expression of Sympathy
From the bottom of my heart, I want to express my deepest sympathy to the victims of eastern Japan’s earthquake and tsunami.
I am deeply saddened by the many precious lives lost to this great disaster.
I offer my heartfelt prayer for the peace and happiness of those who fell victim to this tragedy. At the same time, I want to express my deep condolences to the survivors.
I offer my sincere prayer for the healing of the survivors and a strong recovery from this calamity.
For the members of our local Nichiren Shoshu temples affected by this disaster, please believe in the power of the Mystic Law. I offer my prayer for you to overcome this great obstacle with a strong and unwavering faith.
Please accept my sincere expression of sympathy.
